With dogs brightening up quarantine life for so many pet lovers nationwide, 2021 seemed like the perfect time to reintroduce the Puppy Diaries series to PetPlace’s readers. We hope you’ll join Eddie and her family on their journey this year.

PetPlace.com is introducing Eddie, the Golden Retriever, and her humans, the Stauff family, in a new series of monthly articles that will follow the ups, downs, surprises, and joys associated with parenting a new puppy. PetPlace, a one-stop destination for all things pet care since 2006, launched the second installment of the popular series, Puppy Diaries.
Millions of animal lovers brought new pets into their homes in 2020 and Anne Stauff was one of them. Along with her husband and two children, Anne welcomed a Golden Retriever puppy, Eddie, into the family and is delighted to share her story with PetPlace readers. Over twelve monthly installments, the series will cover the family’s many pet parenting adventures, as well as provide valuable pet care tips and, of course, photos and videos of Eddie as she settles into her new home.
The PetPlace team first introduced the Puppy Diaries series in 2018. Throughout that year, non-fiction author and first-time dog mom Laura Tiebert shared her family’s experience with Sommer, their Poodle-mix puppy. Addressing a range of topics including pet insurance, emergency veterinary care, and obedience training, the series was a relatable read for new and veteran dog owners, and informative for the entire PetPlace audience.
Anne and the PetPlace team are eager to share their insights and anecdotes with dog lovers, as well as bring back the popular series.
“With dogs brightening up quarantine life for so many pet lovers nationwide, 2021 seemed like the perfect time to reintroduce the series to PetPlace’s readers,” said Hilary Young, Director of Brand Strategy for PetPlace.
Entries in this year’s Puppy Diaries series should have something to offer for pet lovers of all types.
“Whether you’re in the market for a new puppy, struggling through the stressful early days of pet parenthood, or just looking for cute photos to share on social media,” said Young, “we hope you’ll join Eddie and her family on their journey this year.”
